
Trent A. Grinkmeyer, CRPC®, AIF®

Trent Grinkmeyer was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moved to Alabama where he attended high school and college. In 1993, he obtained a BFA from the University of South Alabama and undertook numerous successful business endeavors throughout the 1990s. Trent began his career as a financial advisor in 2000 with American Express Financial Advisors, now Ameriprise Financial. While at Ameriprise, he achieved one of the company's most distinguished honors, senior financial advisor, and obtained the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation (CRPC®). In his search to provide superior wealth management services and advice to corporations and individuals, he joined Commonwealth Financial Network® as an Investment Adviser Representative in 2007 and he has furthered his education by becoming a member of the Retirement Plan Advisory Group. Trent was chosen as an honoree for the Birmingham Business Journal's Class of 2008 Finance on the Move and his firm has ranked among Birmingham's Largest Investment Brokerage Firms and Birmingham's Largest Investment firms as published in the Birmingham Business Journal. Personal Trent, his wife, Ginger, and their two daughters, Haileigh and Emma, reside in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. They are extremely active in their neighborhood and community and feel it is a wonderful place to live. In his free time, Trent enjoys bouldering, mountain biking, and spending time on the beach.

Valerie R. Leonard, AIF®

Valerie Leonard was raised in Huntsville, Alabama, and moved to Birmingham in 2000 where she obtained a BS in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2002, she began working for American Express Financial Advisors, now Ameriprise Financial, and formed a partnership with Trent Grinkmeyer in 2005. In 2007, Trent and Valerie chose to partner with Commonwealth Financial Network®. Valerie is a proud member of the Retirement Plan Advisory Group, a professional alliance of accomplished advisors who demand and deliver a higher level of strategies, systems, and services for qualified and nonqualified plan sponsor clients. Valerie holds the Accredited Invesetment Fiduciary® designation as awarded by Fiduciary360, an organization offering training, tools and resources to promote a culture of fiduciary responsibility and improve the decision making processes of fiduciaries. The AIF® designation signifies knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. Personal
Valerie and her husband, Rob, reside in Pelham, Alabama and welcomed their first child in 2011. She enjoys traveling, music, camping, boating, and spending time with her family and their dogs, Lola and Zoe. She is an active member of the Financial Planning Association, National Association of Women Business Owners, Women's Exchange, and First Baptist Church of Pelham. Valerie is also a candidate for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification through the American College.

Kimberley Dowdy Fulcher, AIF®

Kimberley Fulcher was born in Roanoke, Virginia and moved to Alabama at the age of three. Her family spent several years in Gadsden before calling Birmingham home in 1982. She received her Bachelor's degree from The University of Alabama and her Master's degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kimberley began her career as a Wealth Advisor in 2003 and developed an incredible talent of helping individuals meet their personal financial goals while striving to manage their financial risks. Over the years, she has earned a Personal Financial Specialist designation and has been featured in The Birmingham Business Journal's Finance on the Move. Recently, Kimberley was awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation as awarded by Fiduciary 360. Today, Kimberley continues to provide investment and wealth management services to her valued clients while also helping defined contribution retirement plan sponsors understand and limit their fiduciary liability while providing their participants a comprehensive investment platform. Kimberley, her husband Chad, and their five year old daughter Savannah reside in Chelsea, AL. She enjoys fishing, hunting, Alabama football, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with her family and their Boxers, Bailey and Champ. Kimberley is active in her neighborhood and community, attends The Church at Brookhills, and is involved in several chambers of commerce. She has also established herself as an entertaining and informative speaker and is involved in several women's groups throughout Birmingham.

Gina M. Korn
Professional
Gina was born in Monroe, Michigan where she attended elementary school and high school. She began her college education at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan before transferring to Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It was there that she receieved her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked as an Occupational Therapist until November 1999 when she took time away from her career to raise her children. In January 2008 she returned to the work force as a financial planning assistant for Trent and Valerie.
Personal
Gina and her husband Don live in Birmingham with their three children, Andrew, Erin and Taylor. Gina enjoys watching her three children participate in sports and vacationing with her family. One of her favorite vacation spots is at her parent's lake house in Irish Hills, Michigan.

Deborah Brown
Professional
Deborah grew up in Anniston, Alabama and moved to Birmingham in May of 1979 after completing her B.S. in Education at Jacksonville State University. In 2002 and after 25 years of experience in the Retail industry, she joined Fee-Only Planning Professionals, LLC, as an Investment Operations Specialist. While working for "Fee-Only" she helped to ensure client's needs were met and applied her previous business and management experience to assist in the financial planning process. Deborah currently serves as a Retirement Plan Service Coordinator at Grinkmeyer and Leonard Wealth Management. She enjoys working with retirement plan sponsors and prides herself on helping meet their service needs.
Personal
Deborah enjoys crafts, hiking, biking, photography and travel. Her goal is to visit at least one National Park each year. Her last excursion was to Glacier National Park in Kalispell, Montana, where she enjoyed getting up close and personal with a "Ram" near Logan's Pass. She has pictures to prove it.
